What sets Maison 21G apart is that your end product will contain 21% perfume concentrate, well above the industry average of 12%. So not only do you get a personalised perfume that smells exactly how you want it to, you get good value for your dollar.
Creating Your Bespoke Perfume at Maison 21G
The process of creating your signature scent starts with an online personality quiz that only takes about 3 minutes to fill in. You are asked questions about your interests and the types of scents you like and dislike. Based on your answers, you are given a combination of two scents each that are appropriate for day and night.
You can also create your personalised perfume by mood or by ingredient if you know exactly what scents you like. With 33 scents to choose from, there are over 600 possible combinations that you can end up with.
The unique Maison 21G perfume bottle was crafted by two French designers from Aida. Its sleek, medium size makes it ideal for travelling and switching up fragrances for every feeling, event, or destination on any day, month, or moment. The perfume can last up to around 365 generous sprays inside.
Take the customisation up a notch by personalising your bottle with your name or initials with Maison 21G’s advanced UV printing technology. It’s a great idea for a bespoke gift too, don’t you think?

My Experience at Maison 21G
As I stepped into the quaint little Maison 21G boutique store on Duxton Road, the Parisian vibes were immediately apparent; from the black and white minimalist decor to the wall lined with perfume bottles.
Johanna guided me through the entire process starting with the online personality quiz. My recommended 3 pairings were; oud and vanilla for a bold perfume; patchouli and amber for a love perfume; and sandalwood and frangipani for a fresh perfume. I got to smell each scent individually and then as pairs in the combination suggested. Johanna also let me sample a few more popular scents such as bergamot and sage which was the combination I chose for my bespoke perfume eventually as I wanted something a little more masculine and unique.
I witnessed my creation coming to life as the La Source machine dispensed the fragrance concentrates from a recyclable capsule into a perfume bottle. I can always come back with my perfume bottle to get a refill; brownie points to Maison 21G for reducing packaging waste. My perfume was then personalised further by etching my name on the bottle. The entire process was fun and very smooth.
