Follow the Adventures of Alice in Wonderland at the ArtScience Museum Singapore

A treat for the Disney fans, Singapore is the first stop of the Wonderland exhibition’s global tour and will be at the ArtScience Museum till 22 September 2019.

Before stepping through the looking glass and heading into a curious world of whimsical adventures, you are given a Lost Map of Wonderland; each narrated by a different character from Lewis Carroll’s timeless stories of Alice - Alice, White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, or Cheshire Cat. Each character has its own symbol which shows up in different rooms of the interactive exhibition. Look for your symbol and you'll uncover interesting facts about the books, movie and author.

Wonderland is a playful exhibition suitable for all ages so fall down the rabbit hole and get started! You get to make decisions along the way such as whether you want to enter through a small door or a big door to the next room.

Developed by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), the exhibition reveals how artists and filmmakers have portrayed Alice and her story for over a century. You'll find early cartoon drawings, book illustrations, movie posters in different languages, costumes, theatrical sets, and even magic lantern projectors.

Much like the Disney movie, you start at the Rabbit Hole, followed by the Hallway of Doors, Pool of Tears, Queen’s Croquet Ground and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

At the Queen's Croquet Ground, get ready to paint the roses red as you scan your face into a digital projector which then projects you prancing around the garden with a paintbrush in your hand. It's pretty amusing!

Another highlight is attending the Mad Hatter's Tea Party where you sit around a table and enjoy an audiovisual feast as the room transforms in real time with captivating digital projections of the enchanted forest, tea and cakes.

Wonderland will run from 13 April to 22 September 2019. Tickets are available for purchase at all Marina Bay Sands box offices and website.
